Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy and drive the success of our social media advocacy tool.
  • In this role, you will serve as the voice of the customer, collaborating closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to develop compelling messaging, positioning, and value propositions. The journey begins by researching competitors and understanding the market drivers to ensure any new product offering we invest in is positioned to succeed.
  • You will own product launches, create impactful sales enablement materials, and contribute to marketing campaigns to drive adoption, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
  • The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for technology, deep knowledge of marketing technology products and landscape, data-driven decision-making, and storytelling, capable of translating complex product features into clear, customer-focused benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches, ensuring alignment with target prospects and clients for social employee advocacy tools in specific and the marketing technology landscape in particular.
  • Craft tailored messaging and positioning that highlights the product’s value in addressing key challenges in the martech industry, such as tool effectiveness, marketing compliance, and regulation adherence.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to understand trends, pain points, and opportunities to define target segments inside the overall target sector.
  • Collaborate with product management to translate technical features into clear, customer-centric benefits for target prospects and customers.
  • Define and create sales enablement materials such as industry-specific pitch decks, case studies, ROI calculators, best practice guides, etc.
  • Work with the marketing team to plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns, leveraging channels and tactics relevant to financial services professionals (e.g., webinars, thought leadership content, industry events, third-party SDR/BDR providers).
  • Define and track KPIs to measure product adoption, market penetration, and campaign success benchmarked against competitors and the market.
  • Act as a trusted product expert in customer discussions, at trade shows, and during industry events, highlighting the company’s impact and the product’s roadmap.
  • Develop educational content, such as white papers, blogs, and videos, that positions the company as a thought leader in SaaS solutions.
  • Partner with customer success teams to capture feedback from clients and identify opportunities for enhancing product adoption and satisfaction. Includes establishing and chairing a customer user group.
  • Stay informed about trends, regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and competitive solutions in the target sector to ensure product and messaging differentiation.
  • In collaboration with sales and services, create win-announcements when deals close, go-live announcements as projects go-live and case studies that showcase an implementation, inclusive of quantitative benefits.
  • Foster collaboration across product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure all client touchpoints reflect a unified value proposition tailored to target segments and sectors.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of product marketing or related experience in a SaaS company, with exposure to financial services clients or industries.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Martech industry, including key challenges, regulatory landscape, and emerging trends. A focus on employee advocacy is a plus
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and articulate complex SaaS product features and translate them into customer-focused benefits for financial organizations.
  • Market Research Skills: Proven ability to conduct market analysis and competitor research, particularly within the Martech domain.
  • Go-to-Market Expertise: Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for B2B SaaS products.
  • Sales Enablement: Demonstrated ability to create impactful sales collateral tailored to financial services use cases (e.g., ROI calculators, compliance guides).
  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a strong aptitude for storytelling and simplifying technical content.
  • Collaboration: Track record of working cross-functionally with product, sales, customer success, and marketing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Ability to measure and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives and optimize strategies based on insights.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with product marketing technology solutions
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Experience working in a startup environment with the ability to adapt quickly and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Previous experience working with external lead-generation organizations that provide SDR and BDR capabilities
